How it works
No hacks. Just the sensor.
Your MacBook already knows its hinge angle to the degree, 125 times a second. Foldy reads it and draws.
Hinge sensor
Reads the lid angle straight off Apple's own sensor at 125 Hz — the MagAlpha unit behind the hinge. No polling, no accessibility permissions, no guessing.
Live desktop
ScreenCaptureKit grabs your screen the moment the lid moves, then two Metal passes draw the fold into a click-through window above everything. Your windows and wallpaper move together.
Held in space
The picture keeps the pose your screen had while the panel falls away from it. Effect strength blends between flat-on-the-panel and rigidly-held-in-air, from 0 to 100%.
Seven glasses
Frosted, Textured, Fire, Liquid, Rain, Ice and Smoke. The sheet is thickest at the top and thins toward the hinge as you open — with bloom pooling where it's deepest.
